It is estimated that more than 25% treatment centres for AIDS patients worldwide are operated by Catholic organizations. Below you will find some of the organizations working to support those suffering both locally and globally.

Caritas International – www.caritas.org - Caritas is the Catholic Church’s relief arm worldwide. Caritas operate AIDS related programs in more than 60 countries overseas, including 28 countries in Africa.
Canadian Catholic Organization for Development & Peace –
www.devp.org - Development & Peace is the official international development agency of the Canadian Church, founded in 1967 by Canada’s bishops, laity and clergy to fight poverty in the south and to promote greater international justice. Development & Peace is the Canadian member of Caritas International.
Catholic Family Services of Toronto – www.cfsofto.org - provides counselling and ongoing support to individuals and families. There are also regional Catholic Family Services offices throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto.
Pastoral Mission Fund – a ShareLife agency. Programs funded by the Pastoral Mission Fund include those geared towards those suffering from HIV/AIDS. More than 25 AIDS related projects in nine countries have been supported by the Archdiocese of Toronto, providing education and outreach to those in need.
