Pilgrimage to Divine Mercy Sanctuary.  Polish parishioners of St. Hedwig’s Parish, Oshawa, are making a pilgrimage to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Wilno, in the Diocese of Pembroke. The purpose of this gathering is to thank God for Pope John Paul II’s beatification.

St. Benedict’s Parish, Etobicoke will host a Divine Mercy Holy Hour at St. Benedict’s Parish, at 3:00 p.m. followed a viewing of the Beatification Ceremony at St. Peter’s Basilica via Salt and Light TV at 4:00 p.m. Following these events, the parish will host a Perogy, Polish Sausage and Privo Party in the parish hall.

A Special Devotion.  St. Casimir’s Parish. A special devotion will begin at 6:15 p.m. before the statue of John Paul II which stands at the corner of Roncesvalles Avenue and Fern Avenue, beside the St. Casimir and St. Stanislaus Polish Parishes Credit Union. The faithful are invited to bring their own candles which will be lit during the devotion as the Rosary and a litany are prayed.  All are invited to mark this special day by wearing white.
