Daily Saints

The communion of saints became a part of the Christian creed near the end of the fifth century. It is a theological concept associated with the Holy Spirit; "I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the resurrection of the body". It is a theological concept that has been given various interpretations and emphases over the centuries. Contemporary theologians relate it to the church as a basic sacrament and to Jesus as the primordial sacrament. Pope Pius XII related it to the Mystical Body teaching on the church. Fellowship with Jesus and with his Holy Spirit is the basis for fellowship in the church and in the kingdom.
