Can you help me find my sacramental record? ARCAT will assist individuals searching for sacraments administered within the Archdiocese of Toronto if they do not know where the sacrament was administered. If an individual knows where sacrament was administered they will be referred to relevant parish, etc. Please contact our office at 416-934-3400 ext. 501.
How do I gain access to ARCAT’s holdings? A research interview is required by telephone or in person to identify sources and outline search strategy. Archdiocese of Toronto staff and officials are welcome to visit ARCAT during regular business hours. Members of the public may conduct research in ARCAT Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday, 9:00 AM - 4:15 PM, by appointment only. Please contact our office at 416-934-3400 ext. 501.
How do I conduct genealogical research? ARCAT staff and parish staff are not mandated to conduct genealogical research. Genealogical research may be conducted by visiting ARCAT during the hours stated in question 2, by appointment only, and after a research interview.

I’m writing a parish history. Can you help me? ARCAT possesses parish records and provides consultation on the creation of publications related to parish histories. Individuals representing a parish for such a project must obtain a letter of introduction from the Pastor.
