General Overview

Mission: To promote 100% success for staff through effective use of computer technology in Archdiocesan operations. Key areas include:

Consulting Services - Provide technical services and be a high value partner to each operational unit of the Archdiocese. Implement technology solutions that meet client department requirements. Develop and implement a long-range plan for the Chancery's information needs.

IT Administration - Maintain hardware, software, internal and external information systems and databases, and local area and wide area networks for the Chancery office.

Ensure the security, integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of all Chancery electronic data.

Maintain full compliance with Canadian copyright laws pertaining to the use and distribution of software.

Reduce the average total cost of ownership of Chancery workstations by deploying appropriate technologies.

Software & Database Development - Increase productivity potential by automating manual tasks in a cost efficient manner either through application development or purchase of bespoke software.
