General Overview

To recommend to the Archbishop of Toronto all priestly personnel placements as deemed most beneficial both to the parishes or other ministries in the Archdiocese as well as to the individual priests.

To oversee, supervise and co-ordinate all services to the priests of the Archdiocese in the areas of spiritual formation (annual priests’ retreat), human formation programs (priests ordained 5 years or less, support for retired and elderly priests) and intellectual formation (annual priests seminar, study days, study and sabbatical leaves), assisting priests with immigration visas and organizing workshops for priests new to the Archdiocese.

To maintain a database containing information relating to all diocesan and religious order priests and parishes.
