General Overview

Volunteer Screening is a process designed to create, maintain and promote a safe environment for all those to whom we minister, to support parish volunteers and preserve their safety, integrity and reputation and to ensure that we fulfill our duty and obligations as a faith and caring community.

Key areas include:

Maintenance of the Program – accountable for maintaining and updating of policies and procedures pertaining to the process of the Volunteer Screening Program.

Support and Resource for Parishes and their Volunteer Screening Committees – assists parishes in carrying out the Volunteer Screening Program by providing workshops for committee members, parish visits, answering inquires in regards to the program and supplying information and materials to complete the process.
