Established in 1979 by His Eminence, Gerald Emmett Cardinal Carter and continued to this day by Archbishop Thomas Collins, the Cardinal’s Dinner is now on its 32nd year and has distributed over $4.8 million to those in need and for the vulnerable in our community. While some of the proceeds go to well-known charities, the Cardinal’s Dinner focus on helping many smaller initiatives which do immense good in serving people of all faiths and which do not have great capacity for fund raising.
