A giant of our time has died.
The twentieth century can boast of a few giants. This one was a giant of goodness in every sense of the word, political, social, spiritual. He was a giant of profound insight into the human condition of the modern human being, courageous to speak the truth of Christ, in season and out of season. He was also a giant of insight into the message of the Second Vatican Council, and the real needs of the Church. + Aloysius Cardinal Ambrozic Archbishop of Toronto.
