Welcome to Canadian Pilgrims in Assisi...
On behalf of the Franciscans, we would like to welcome Canadian pilgrims to the Papal Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi and his tomb.
Friar Edward Debono, a Canadian Franciscan, is a resident at the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, Italy and offers guided tours to pilgrims in English. Tours
of the Basilica and the tomb are also offered in other languages.

Shrine to Our Blessed Mother in Merlin, Ontario
The Shrine is open year round for visitation and for those that would like time for reflection, it is an oasis for silent prayer or the private recitation of the rosary.
Our week of prayer is between August 13 and August 22 (inclusive). A day of reconciliation will be held on August 16. Priests will be available for the sacrament of Reconciliation. A youth day of prayer will be held on August 21. Each day consists of the celebration of the Mass, a rosary procession, Exposition and Benediction.

6th Annual Education Mass
All Catholic educators of the Archdiocese are invited to pause before the new academic year and gather together for a special celebration dedicated to all educators - K-12 classroom teachers in the Catholic system, Catholic teachers in the public system, private schools, pre-school education as well as with post-secondary education.
Wednesday August 29th 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
St. Paul's Basilica - 83 Power Street, Toronto
Educators are invited to dedicate themselves to the vocation of teaching and receive a special blessing from Archbishop Collins.
All are welcome to attend the Mass.
Following Mass, a dinner in the parish hall will be held where Archbishop Thomas Collins will speak about “Teaching from the Heart”.
Tickets for the dinner are $40 each.
