A lecture by Rev. Dan Donovan, Professor Emeritus of Theology at St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto. He is a former member of the boards of the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, St. Michael's College and OCAD. An avid art collector, he has donated most of his collection of contemporary Canadian art to St. Michael's College, where it is displayed in public spaces for the enjoyment and inspiration of all.

Theatre Production Lullaby of Broadway

Enjoy classic numbers from The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and My Fair Lady, as well as exciting music from contemporary shows including Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Wicked.

30th North America Chinese Catholic Clergy, Religious and Laity Convention
“Chinese Catholics Living in a Changing
Multi-ethnic Society”
June 25 - 28, 2010
Location - four hosting Chinese Catholic parishes in Toronto.
Join Chinese Catholics from across North America to explore faith, formation and the challenges of maintaining Chinese Catholic faith identity and traditions in an ever-more diversifying multicultural society. A secondary stream of discussion will focus specifically on the challenges facing young Chinese people as they grow in faith.
Hosted by the Chinese Pastoral Council of the Archdiocese of Toronto, presenters will include, among others: Fr. T. Fay, SJ; Deacon John Wu; and Dr. Christian Elia, director of the Toronto Office of Catholic Youth. Opening Mass to be celebrated by His Grace, Archbishop Thomas Collins and Closing Mass to be celebrated by Bishop William McGrattan.

Full-Time Director of Chaplaincy Services
Newman Centre is seeking a full-time director of chaplaincy services to organize, coordinate and implement chaplaincy programs and services during weekdays to serve university students and to promote a Catholic presence at the University of Toronto.
Job requirements:
University Degree in related field (theology, religious studies, philosophy, education, counselling) OR University degree in unrelated field but with a certificate in youth ministry, diocesan lay formation certificate or combined experience and training.
2 years experience in campus ministry or 3 years experience in youth ministry.
Must be a practising Catholic, supported by a pastoral reference from a bishop or priest.
Good organization, planning, time management and decision-making skills.
Flexibility in work scheduling and willingness to adapt to student timetables.
Excellent communication skills and able to relate well with students and young adults.
Skilled in working with current computer applications (MS Office, etc).
Background or experience in marketing, promotion, or advertising an asset.

150th Anniversary Year of the Ursulines of the Chatham Union
On May 9th, 1860 Mother Xavier LeBihan arrived on the banks of the Thames River in response to several requests from notable citizens of Chatham to open a school. From this original foundation Ursulines eventually spread across Canada and beyond national borders engaging in a variety of ministries. With the same bold spirit as these pioneer women, Ursuline Sisters today continue to seek out and respond to the needs of the times.
