R.C.I.A. Institute
Initiation of Children of Catechetical Age
Mark your calendars now! The R.C.I.A. Resource Committee of the Archdiocese of Toronto will co-sponsor an Institute with the North American Forum on the Catechumenate.
The Institute will take place from June 9–11, 2006, at St. Roch's Parish. This Institute is formational training for all those involved in the initiation of children. Pastors and Assistant Pastors,
Deacons, Catechists, Teachers, R.C.I.A. Team Members, and Sponsors will all benefit from attending this Institute.

Missionary Oblates
Celebrate 50 Years
The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Assumption Province and the 110th anniversary of the work of Polish Missionary Oblates in Canada.
On June 15, 2006, Cardinal Ambrozic will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Mississauga.
A banquet will follow the Mass at the John Paul II Cultural Centre at 7:00 pm. Performing at the banquet will be world-famous Polish tenor Marek Torzewski.

On May 13, 2006, Mother Maria Teresa of Saint Joseph was elevated to the ranks of the Blessed
in the Diocese of Roermond, Holland.
On June 19, 2006, at 7:00 pm, St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Toronto, and the Carmelite Sisters
of the Divine Heart of Jesus will host a celebration to honour the new Blessed Mother Maria Teresa
of Saint Joseph. |

TCDSB Staff Arts Presents
“Anne of Green Gables”
A cast and crew comprised of current and retired staff of the Toronto Catholic District School Board is proud to present its 27th annual musical. This year's production is the Canadian family classic “Anne of Green Gables”, the story of a freckle-faced, red-haired orphan named Anne Shirley,
who arrives at the Bright River Railway Station,
full of hope for a new life. This year's production is directed by Mirella Rossi, with musical direction
by Anne Bolger.
Performances will be held in the theatre at
Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, 36
Greenfield Avenue, North York on June 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th and 10th starting at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee performance scheduled for June 4th at 2:00 p.m.
