Office of Catholic Youth
Retreat for Youth Ministers & Coordinators

Jesus said to them, “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.”
Mark 6:31

Our lives are busier than ever and no matter how much we do, it seems we are being asked for even more. Jesus and his disciples faced similar pressures - they didn't even have time to eat! Sound familiar? Step away for a day to reflect, rest and be refreshed.

The retreat is open to youth ministers and all those working with youth (teachers, chaplains, etc.) in the Archdiocese. Cost for the day is $20 (including lunch and snack).

For more information and to register, contact Lecia Kiska at 416-599-7676.

Shepherds’ Trust Collection

As parishioners, we have reaped the benefits of our priests' unselfish service to ourselves and our families for generations. Called by God to serve His people, their work in our homes, churches, schools, hospitals, prisons, and on our streets has been a labour of love. They deserve our deepest gratitude, and our continuing support.

The collection for the Shepherds' Trust will take place in all parishes in the Archdiocese on November 17 and 18. Envelopes will be distributed on November 10 and 11.

This is an opportunity for all of us to show our appreciation for all they have done for us in our happiest times and our most difficult moments. Their unfailing love, friendship and devotion to God's people must never be forgotten.

The Shepherds' Trust does more than just bridge the gap in our clergy's retirement years, it says thank-you, from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity on November 17 and 18 will be deeply appreciated.
