archdiocese of Toronto Celebrates Ordination of Five Priests
TORONTO (May 12, 2006) – On Saturday, May 13, 2006, the Archdiocese of Toronto will celebrate the ordination of five new priests for service to the community. Aloysius Cardinal Ambrozic, Archbishop of Toronto, will preside at the ceremony, which will take place at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Toronto at 10 a.m.
The Archdiocese of Toronto’s Class of 2006 includes:

Roselle Ricafrente
Currently there are more than 70 men at various stages in their studies for the priesthood at St. Augustine’s Seminary and the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Toronto. Candidates undergo extensive spiritual formation, theological education and practical field training as part of their preparation for priestly ministry. There is a minimum of five years of formation before a candidate is ordained.
