TORONTO (October 12, 2006) – The Archdiocese of Toronto has launched its redesigned website at www.archtoronto.org. Home to extensive information about the work of the Catholic Church, the new site is an important resource for Catholics, journalists, students and those interested in learning more about the significant contributions of the church in the Greater Toronto Area.

Visitors will be able to find weekend Mass times at their local parish, learn more about church teaching and frequently asked questions on a variety of subjects. From upcoming events, photos and essential contact numbers to a glossary of commonly used church terms, daily readings and all the latest news, the website serves as a comprehensive resource for anyone looking for information about the church, locally, nationally and around the world.

The redesigned site, with ongoing updates, also provides useful links to the Vatican website as well as other faith, charitable and educational partners.

The Archdiocese of Toronto is the spiritual home to 1.6 million Catholics, celebrating Mass at 223

parishes in more than 30 languages each week.
