St. Paul, who recognized that all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

St. Paul, who pleaded that the message of the Gospel be preached whether it is convenient or inconvenient, in season or out of season, (2 Tim 4:2)

St. Paul, who in all humility recognized that a thorn was given to him in the flesh to keep him from being too elated, (2 Cor 12:6)

St. Paul, who begged the Lord three times that this thorn would leave him, (2 Cor 12:8)

O God, You have taught peoples of all nations through the preaching of St. Paul the Apostle. Grant, that as an Archdiocese of many peoples, we who celebrate his memory during this Pauline Jubilee Year may be drawn more deeply into the saving mystery of Jesus Christ Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, world without end.
