Equipping Young
Catholics for Discipleship

The Office of Catholic Youth (OCY) is focused on cultivating relationships and providing support to those who minister to young people in the parish communities within the Archdiocese of Toronto.

Forming youth and young adults into Christian leaders who come to know Christ, deepen their relationship with Him, and are transformed into one of His faith-filled disciples - evangelize, gather, catechize, and send forth.

Areas of Focus
Youth (ages 11-17) – Tweens and Teens
Young Adults (ages 18-35) – Students and Young Professionals

Primary Mission
To provide consulting, training, and resources to start-up and sustain strong parish youth ministry at the parish level, and young adult ministry at the parish and local level (region, zone, local area).

Secondary Mission
Forming secondary partnerships (school boards, lay associations, etc.) and running programs (i.e. Totus Tuus, conferences, retreats, etc.) to help bolster the youth and young adult ministries at the parish/local levels by bringing in focused, energetic evangelization efforts.
