Our Lady of Fatima Shrine came into being through the dedicated service of Father Kenneth McDonnell, the first pastor at the parish, and his devotion to Our Lady.

First housed in a small wooden church serving a community of 400 families in 1953, the parish grew to serve 1300 families and became the church that we see today.

After 60 years as a parish community we remain committed to our faith and our Church. We all take pride in Our Lady of Fatima Shrine and want to give parishioners the most comfortable and prayerful space as possible.

With the funds we will receive in the Family of Faith campaign, important needs of our parish will be addressed.

The roof needs to be water-proofed. The elevator needs to be replaced in order to provide greater accessibility for our parishioners. We also want to proceed with our plans to install an air conditioning system. A portion of the proceeds will also help pay down our debt to meet our outstanding financial obligations to the archdiocese.

We look forward to this next exciting phase of our parish and the archdiocese, remembering that we are family, brothers and sisters in Christ!
