Founded in 1965, St. Andrew parish is one of the most diverse parishes in the Archdiocese of Toronto. As our parish family continues to grow, we must provide our parishioners with adequate worship and social space.
With the funds we receive from the Family of Faith campaign, we will upgrade our current washroom facilities, ensuring wheelchair accessibility, and add a second set of washrooms.
We will also construct the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, which will allow for a more dignified, peaceful and proper space for the Blessed Sacrament, and offer the proper environment for Adoration or celebration of the Eucharist for small groups.
Other projects are being planned to improve the lighting in our church and the installation of audio-visual capabilities.
Finally, we will renovate our parish hall by creating a commercial-quality kitchen, modifying the entry and installing audio-visual capabilities. These hall upgrades will allow our parish to have an additional source of income since we will be able to rent out the hall.
We look forward to this next exciting phase of our parish and archdiocese, remembering that we are one family, brothers and sisters in Christ.
