St. Elizabeth Seton parish is a strong and energetic faith-filled community. Thanks to our parishioners we run many programs and grow together as a family of faith.

Our parish was founded in 1986 to serve the rapidly growing population in Newmarket and East Gwillimbury. We were grateful to finish building our church and move into our current worship space in 1991. Next year we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of our church building, and the 30th anniversary of our parish's founding!

Thanks to the devoted efforts of our many parish volunteers and benefactors, our faith community celebrates Mass in a beautiful church. Visual renderings of our faith's rich tradition, including statues of Our Lady as well as our patron, St. Elizabeth Seton, instruct the young and inspire believers.

We still carry debt related to building our church. Our parish's priority is to decrease our debt, so that we may address other future needs for our parish community. Our parish's share of our Family of Faith campaign will be applied in its entirety towards retiring our debt.

We look forward to this exciting phase of our parish and archdiocese, remembering that we are family - brothers and sisters in Christ!
