St. Ignatius Loyola parish is a welcoming and diverse Roman Catholic community of faith that, through celebration of our many gifts and talents, strives to build our lives in the image of Christ. We do so through our commitment to loving service of one another and of our broader community, all "for the greater glory of God."
Since the building of our parish church in 1987, we have not been able to provide adequate parking for our parishioners. Our one entrance/exit on Burnhamthorpe Road West has caused parishioner frustration and the need to pay for police to direct traffic each week.
Through the leasing of adjacent lands from the school board, the City of Mississauga has granted permission to build 148 additional parking spaces and a right in/right out access to Glen Erin Drive.
We are excited that our parking lot repair and expansion project, funded in part through our campaign, will provide a more hospitable and welcoming environment for those who join us for the celebration of Sunday Mass, weddings and funerals.
We look forward to this exciting phase of our parish and archdiocese, remembering that we are family - brothers and sisters in Christ!
