Kolbe Eucharistic Apostolate, The

Dedicated to Mary, we promote devotion to Jesus Christ, truly present in the Holy Eucharist. Through faith formation, we witness our love for Christ and our Catholic faith with others. BACKGROUND: The KOLBE EUCHARISTIC APOSTOLATE originated (1996) as monthly Eucharistic Mini-Retreats at St. Brigid's Parish. In 2006, faith formation classes (Know Your Faith Series) began. In 2016, with the passing of the foundress, Maria De Manche, our main focus now is Faith Formation Classes. We are under the assistance of Father Charles Anang (spiritual advisor) and the pastors of Holy Cross and Blessed Trinity Parishes. Faith formation classes (incorporating Scripture, Catechism of the Catholic Church, Church documents) includes Catholic fellowship. In our Prayer Apostolate, each day we strive to incorporate four daily practices in our spiritual formation: prayer (especially for priests); daily conversion; faith formation; and witness of our faith. Anyone desiring to deepen their love of God and their Catholic faith through prayer and faith formation in adherence with the teaching of the Catholic Church is welcome.
