The Season of Creation challenges the entire global Christian family to care for God’s creation through prayer and action. Several Christian traditions observe September 1 as the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, and some celebrate it as the Feast of Creation. To kick off this year’s Season of Creation, the Laudato Si’ Movement is hosting an online ecumenical prayer service on YouTube. The invitation is open to all.
