With a focus on minors on the move, Pope Leo XIV has chosen “Even Just One of These Children” as the theme for the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees. The title is drawn from Matthew 18:5: “Whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me”. To read the Holy Father’s full message, please click here.

This occasion will be commemorated with a special Mass on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Parish, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering, Ontario. Bishop Vincent Nguyen will serve as both celebrant and homilist.

A reception and short program will follow the Mass. All are warmly invited to join us for this special occasion.
