  1. What is a Day With Mary and what can I expect?

    A Day With Mary is a one-day, family-friendly, outdoor event where participants will gather together from all corners of the archdiocese to participate in Mass, pray the Rosary, grow deeper in our devotion to Our Lady through a keynote address by Dr. Josephine Lombardi for the adults, powerful witnessings and children’s catechesis for the kids.
    There will be music, food and fellowship and we hope that you will consider joining His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo and so many others who love the Blessed Mother.

  2. When is a Day with Mary taking place?
    The event will take place May 31, 2025. The day will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.

  3. Who can attend and is there a cost to attend?
    The day is specifically designed to accommodate members of the Catholic community of Toronto of all ages. There will be catechesis and activities for children of all ages, and a keynote address for adults. It is our hope that the day is attended by Catholics young and old!
    The event is free for all to attend, lunch is available for purchase at time of registration and is optional – participants are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy if they wish. There is also an opportunity to donate to help offset the costs associated with planning an event of this magnitude.

  4. Where is the event taking place?
    A Day With Mary will take place at Villanova College located at 2480 15th Sideroad in King City, ON L7B 0P5. The majority of the day will take place on the school’s football field with some children’s programming and washrooms located inside the school.

  5. Our parish or lay association would like to attend as a group and travel to and from the event on a bus – is this allowed?
    While parking is free at Villanova College, there is limited space for parking and as such, not only are groups allowed to take a bus, we highly encourage it! The school has a huge bus loop that we will be using to help facilitate pick up and drop off of attendees, and we have a designated place for busses to park should they be staying for the day.

  6. I am coming with on my own or with my family, can I drive to this event?
    Yes, of course. There is limited parking on site, so we encourage you to arrive early in order to park your car and make your way to the field where the event will be taking place.
    Our parking lot attendants will help direct you to the nearest parking and once the lot is full at the venue, we have a plan in place to accommodate overflow parking.

  7. What happens if it rains, will the Day With Mary be rescheduled?

    We are planning to hold the event rain or shine – it will not be postponed or rescheduled. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed and prepared for the weather. Suncreen, hats and water should the forecast call for sun and heat; a light jacket and umbrella should the forecast call for light showers.
    Should there be significant rainfall and/or thundershowers, we will move the event inside the school building.

  8. How can I register to attend?

    While registration is closed and our food order has been placed, those wishing to still attend are asked to email events@archtoronto.org to indicate how many people will be attending with you and we will add your name to the guest list. Please remember to pack your own lunch for the day and dress according to the weather.

  9. I have missed the registration period; can I still attend?

  10. Do I have to bring my own chair?
    We have secured enough chairs for all registrants, so there is no need to bring your own chair or lawn chair. If you have missed out on registration, we will have some limited bleacher seating available for you.
