This course will be led by Dr. Benjamin Sommer (professor of Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages at the Jewish Theological Seminary) and will explore both biblical and rabbinic insights of resurrection and immortality and how the concept of afterlife is deeply rooted in the ancient Near East.

Join these sessions to not only understand the concept of the afterlife in Judaism through the ages, but also discover possible convergences and divergences with our own Christian faith.
