Belief Briefs

Belief Briefs

What does it mean to believe? What does the Catholic Church have to say about certain issues of faith?

Beliefs Briefs is a new, contemporary approach to understanding the answers to those very questions and many others.

With thanks to several leading clergy and lay members in the Archdiocese of Toronto, the Office of Public Relations & Communications and the Office of Formation for Discipleship have produced a 15-part series that look at issues including prayer, morality, sacraments and more.

Beginning February 2018 and rolled out over the course of the year, parishes, faith formation groups and clergy are welcomed to use Belief Briefs in their local setting. Each Belief Belief is made up of a video, with a corresponding resource sheet. Together with each video are valuable resources which include easy to read reflections, direct teachings from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sources from tradition as well as reflection questions that can be used in a small group setting.

For more information on how you can use Belief Briefs in a faith-based setting, please contact the Office of Public Relations & Communications or e-mail asantos@archtoronto.org.
