The Chancellor of Temporal Affairs acts in the name of the archbishop for those matters which relate to the temporal administration of the Archdiocese. This includes financial budgets and reports, investments, litigation and all matters related to Archdiocesan properties. These responsibilities are carried out on a day-to-day basis by the administrative departments of the Pastoral Centre (Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Management Information Services, Public Relations & Communications, Parish Purchasing, Planning & Properties, ShareLife & Development).
The Chancellor of Temporal Affairs also carries with it ex officio membership on the following Boards:
