A LIGHT FOR NATIONS — On Saturday, November 11, the Saint Monica Institute for Education and Evangelization will host its first annual conference on the topic of Building a Culture of Life & Dignity, at Saint Bonaventure parish in Toronto. Advocates and organizations from across Canada have been invited to present a full day of proposals for building joyful and faithful witness through a wide range of activites, from single parenthood to economics to peace and defense of civil rights. We will follow the day’s discussions with Vigil Mass and an optional dinner. All are invited, particularly those looking for ways to be involved in active witness. Registration is limited. Dinner tickets must be reserved by November 5. A special pre-event Moral Courage in Leadership at the Newman Centre at the University of Toronto will introduce the Canadian Chapter of Centisemus Annus Pro Pontifice and is also open to all.
