Day of Reflection for men & women. The saints have always been a source of encouragement and hope for Christians, but for centuries Catholics believed that the path to holiness was restricted to people who “left everything to follow Christ”. In 2011 Pope Benedict stated: “We are often led to think that holiness is a goal reserved for a few elect.” He then asked: “What does it mean to be holy? Who is called to be holy?” Our day of reflection will focus on the call to holiness, its prominent place in the Scriptures, and the universal call to holiness promoted by Vatican II. Facilitated by Fr. John Reddy, CSB Suggested offering: Includes lunch, coffee/tea break, Mass and talks.
