Earlier this month, ShareLife launched the Food Security Grants, committing of over half a million dollars to combat hunger. Specifically, a significant portion of the funding will be allocated to parish-based food banks and meal programs, distributed through the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Toronto Central Council.

And because we cannot do this without you, we’re inviting you to take part in an in-depth conversation about this initiative and how you can support food security in your community.

Join us on Thursday, October 12 at 7 p.m. for our ShareLife Speaker Series event “Feeding the Hungry Together: Your Faith in Action” with Louise Coutu, Executive Director of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Toronto Central Council. Through Louise's expertise, you will gain invaluable insights into food security and discover the pivotal role we each can play in the battle against hunger.

Louise will also be joined by our very own Arthur Peters, Executive Director of ShareLife, who will provide an overview of this program and share a message of thanks to all ShareLife supporters.
