Pilgrimage to Martyrs' Shrine - Our Lady of the Cape

On Thursday, July 14, the Pilgrim Statue will be hosted by the Martyr's Shrine in Midland. Please visit the Shrine for this special occasion especially since Our National Madonna, Our Lady of the Cape, will be on a Papal Pilgrimage through the land where our Canadian Martyrs shed their blood. What an honour and a privilege it is to visit Our Lady in the Shrine dedicated to those who gave their lives to defend our faith and Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Pickups begin at:
7:00 am from Milton
7:20 am from Mississauga, and
7:45 am from Vaughan
 
The program for Our Lady of the Cape  begins at 11:30 a.m., Mass is at 12 p.m. followed by procession, veneration, and distribution of Blessed rose petals. Pilgrims will have free time to explore the Martyr's Shrine and the grounds. We will depart the Shrine at 4 p.m.

If you are interested in joining a group of pilgrims for this special event which will surely be historical, please contact me as soon as possible as seats on a luxury coach bus are reserved on a first come first served basis upon receipt of payment.
