Leora Batnitzky is a Senior Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America and a Professor of Jewish Studies & Religion at Princeton University. She researches and teaches in the area of modern Jewish thought, philosophy of religion and legal & political theory. In a three-part seminar series, Leora will explore how and why modernity has led Jews to define themselves either as a religion or a nation.
