On Dec. 8, His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception with a solemn Mass and colloquium for faculty and seminarians of St. Augustine’s Seminary. The celebration of this Solemnity has been an annual tradition for His Eminence, part of his ongoing support of St. Augustine’s Seminary.

During his homily, His Eminence focused on the influence of this feast on the life of the Christian disciple, showing how devotion to our Blessed Mother leads us closer to Jesus. During this solemn celebration, three new faculty members made their profession of faith and oath of fidelity.

During his colloquium, Cardinal Leo discussed six categories of callings, including those that lead up to the discernment of one’s particular state in life. We are grateful to His Eminence for sharing his words of wisdom and encouragement. May God bless and protect him always.
