On September 6, 2025, Bishop Ivan Camilleri, Vicar for Consecrated Life, hosted the second annual Archdiocesan Forum on Consecrated Life. The keynote speaker was Dr. Laura Salvo, psychologist and cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, and tenured professor at Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.

Dr. Salvo’s talk focused on the importance of ongoing spiritual, human and pastoral formation for members of communities of consecrated life, especially in living out the Church’s call to synodality. The Forum provided an opportunity for local superiors to engage in group discussion and to gain insight into practical approaches to tackle issues in their communities.

Present at the Forum were 46 local superiors of female and male congregations within the Archdiocese of Toronto. All commented on the usefulness of the presentation and discussions, and many planned further engagements with Dr. Salvo. Lunch offered a joyful opportunity for fraternal conversation and fellowship.
