"Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation." – Mark 16:15
We all want to make our community and our country a better place. As Catholics we are called to be active participants in civic life. However, it can be difficult to know how to get involved when political activism is dominated by political parties and special interest groups.
Parish Action is a new non-partisan initiative from the Archdiocese of Toronto that will empower parishioners to work with civic leaders to make Canada an even better place. We will do this by sharing our thoughts and offering solutions through meetings, petitions, deputations, letter writing campaigns and so on.
Guided by Catholic Social Teaching, we will harness our parishioners' strengths to work towards the common good.
